ZyXEL is a provider of networking and broadband access solutions. Founded in 1989 and set up in Taiwan, it now has a global reach and provides routers, switches, adapters and wireless solutions to homes and small businesses. By 2008 its revenues exceeded $479 million.

The company says it is one of the few companies in the world capable of offering complete networking solutions ranging from DSL customer premise equipment, central office equipment, Internet security appliances, switches, WLAN equipment, network-attached storage and centralised network management systems.
