Foggy PETRONAS Racing – headed by Superbike legend Carl Fogarty and sponsored by Malaysia’s national oil company PETRONAS – chose af-it as part of their team IT support both in the UK and Trackside since 2002.

We use a transportable VSAT system to provide broadband connectivity in the field. This allows FPR to move engine and setup data, communicate via email and live update the website as the race unfolds and the results come in.

From the satellite dish, either fixed or transportable self-aligning, the broadband signal is fed via an encrypted, secure wireless network to the Hospitality suite and team offices and to the engineers in pit lane. VPN Systems maintain a link to the Factory in Burton on Trent.
